WI-FI TRAIN USING SATELLITE
Unrushed, unreliable, cellular-based Wi-Fi on trains has come to an end. Now a days the technology moves towards stunning fast, Reliable Internet facility which we are providing through satellite on moving locomotive. Real broadband on a train that goes up to 200 Kmph is now possible without service disruption.
Techno Sat Comm India Pvt. Ltd. provides the first mobile satellite communication and Wi-Fi connectivity on trains in India using two way satellites.
In a two-way satellite WiFi connection, the upstream data is usually sent at a slower speed than the downstream data arrives. Thus, the connection is asymmetric. This consists of an onboard satellite-tracking antenna, a multi-band antenna and Wi-Fi broadcasting equipment. The satellite-tracking antenna is placed in one of the power-generating coaches with the primary broadband link established via satellite. Uplink speeds and the downlink speeds depend on factors such as Internet traffic, the capacity of the server, and the sizes of downloaded files. This option offers an always-on connection that bypasses the dial-up process. A firewall is used to protect the computer against hack attempts.
In case of non-availability of satellite, the multi-access router switches from satellite to 2G/3G spectrum to achieve 99 percent connectivity. Wi-Fi radios are provided outside each coach and the bandwidth is further distributed inside the coaches through indoor access points.
Two-way satellite Internet uses Internet Protocol (IP) multicasting technology, which means up to 5,000 channels of communication, can simultaneously be served by a single satellite. IP multicasting sends data from one point to many points (at the same time) by sending data in compressed format. Compression reduces the size of the data and the bandwidth.
Solutions are exclusively designed to enable an instant set-up for a worry-free, controlled-access, revenue-generating wireless internet based WiFi service for you and your business.
